This course covers an in depth look into fittings, thread types, angles, correct sealing methods and the potential hazards when using incorrect or damaged fittings. it also covers hoses used with our services, making sure the correct hose is selected for the task in hand.

This course is designed to give operational personnel both theoretical and practical instruction and hands-on experience on how to safely and competently carry out helium leak detection testing operations. The course is split in to three components; classroom-based theory session (30% of course duration), practical demonstration (20% of course duration), and operator/participant hands-on training (50% of course duration).

To give the Candidate an awareness and understanding of all requirements of an N2/He leak detection technician.
Classroom theory will cover - N2 awareness, hazards associated with working with N2, safe rigging up and use of equipment, N2 Pump LP and HP circuits, Leak Detection, platforms, P&ID's and calibration of Mass Specs and PHD'4s.
Practical will cover - Rig up of pump spread, cool down, pumping activities and use of PHD4's.
A theory and practical assessment will take place on the final day.

To give the candidate an awareness and understanding of all requirements for a pipe freeze technician.
Classroom theory will cover - what - why - when, types of pipe freezes, safe use and equipment used. Also, how to rig up equipment safely, pipe freeze process and procedures.
Practical element will cover - Rig up and pipe freeze activities, forming and maintaining plug isolation, safe thawing and derigging of equipment.

This course is designed to help participants understand the demands of their new role as a supervisor and leader. It is an introductory course to the skills necessary for successful management, with an emphasis on “people skills”. The course reviews the difference between being an individual contributor and a supervisor highlighting that the success of a supervisor is measured by the success of his/her team. From there, the course offers an overview of different tools the supervisor can use to manage the performance of his/her direct reports. Participants will increase their self-awareness and learn about how to better communicate with people who have different personality types. They will also further their understanding and application of the Situational Leadership approach
